A great app - particularly for Europeans as the app originates from a European Weather Data provider company - hence, radar and satellite animations are readily available for most regions - something I have not found on some other weather apps. The UI is very simply and elegant - a lot of useful info there. For a more detailed look at the screenshots and provided data, click on the "support" link on the main iTunes App page.
There is one bug i have noticed however - which hope the developers can fix. I am based in the UK, and the date & time data (in white and yellow colours) appearing on the Title Bar at which the weather data was last updated is overlapping with each other and not neatly separated as shown on the screen shots on the App page. Hope this could be fixed soon. [Update: Have played around with the iPhone region format settings, and when selecting Germany (from UK), it fixes the overlap issue - of course cannot leave the phone on this setting as it messes with all other app's that require the correct format; thus the issue appears to relate to the Region Format setting used]

I looked around for a while for a good weather app... This one appealed to me though, and after I purchased it it became my primary weather app. It has a wonderful interface and it's very easy to navigate with a lot of handy features to boot. The only thing is that you can zoom in on the maps, but there's not enough detail when you're zoomed all the way in on your location. I use another weather app to get a good detailed map... If you make it a bit more detailed when zoomed in, this will be my only weather app! Great job so far!

This has to be the most used app on my iPod. It's the most usefull utility ever and after using it for a couple of months now as accurate as any weather forecast can be. The satelight animated view of the last two and a half hours is brilliant. From it you can easily work out what the next three or four hours weather is going to be yourself - and when you watch a lot of cricket is simply the indespensible! I love it!!!

Really good app. The most accurate weather app. I have used although like all such apps you need to be aware that anything further out than a day or two will decrease in accuracy. Lots of useful info presented really well. Good performance Only areas for improvement are 1). I find the text vs background colour combination difficult to read quite often so to have the option to change this would be good. 2) Improve the caching of info. so that last download of data can be seen when offline... I have just used for 2 weeks in mountainous area where network is very intermittent and had to resort to taking screenshots when I had connectivity

The app is great in giving information such as wind pressure, wind speed, expected sunlight throughout the week, highest - lowest temperature changes for the week, radar and satellite views, 7 day forecasts, as well as updates for each forecast (every 3 hrs). It would be nice if this app were to have smooth animation effects for the sun, clouds, rain, etc., similar to the World Weather app.Update - After updating, I noticed that some of the screens that display current conditions are of low quality (i.e. Images and text are a bit blurry to view). Hopefully the developers will look into this.

This really is a brilliant weather app. Easy to use, plenty of detail and accurate. I particularly like the satellite and radar functions which show you the way weather fronts are developing over the past 3 hours and give a good idea of how they will affect the weather in ones area. I haven't tried any of the other weather apps in the app store but this weather app is one of the handiest tools I have. If the weather is in any way important to you (in my case for work) then get this app. It has always loaded quickly for me too.

Weather Pro is a great looking app with lots of nice interface touches and clear well presented images and data.
There is however one killer feature that seems to elude a number of other weather apps that I have tried and that's that, at least here in South Wales and the South west, it is highly highly accurate........ a feature you want in a weather app but is often lacking in some of the others.

First stop moaning as this upgrade is FREE and the in-app purchase premium version adds fetures above the currrent (and previous) version - so you DON'T LOOSE ANYTHING... But you can pay an OPTIONAL subscription of £3.99 a year (or £1.19 for 3 months) for ADDITIONAL features.
The Good
1. Nice visual tweaks in version 2
2. Much better graphs for weeks rainfall, temps etc.
3. Additional info available by optional subscription
Problems:
1. Unable to subscribe to premium as get transaction cancelled internal error every time.
2. Swapping favorites is hardly intuitive still, come on hold then drag (not smooth) is hardly like normal iPhone apps like standard weather app.

Quality. Solid. Why complain?

Great and in my view from trying several the best. New version brings OPTIONAL subscription service. Without paying you still get the features of previous version. New version has new layout to graphs etc. I opted to subscribe. It's peanuts for what you get. Why why I wonder do so many complain about paying for something (which is cheap) and adds new features? don't like to then don't pay. Still get weather satalite sequance. Finally if so many fret at additional few pounds over course of several months. Should these people not be iPhone or iPod touch users? go and work a bit harder them guys!

I have a lot of apps on my iPhone, and I use this one more than all the others put together. I have an interest in the weather, have tried pretty well every UK-relevent weather app and have deleted all except this one. No app is absolutely perfect, but in my humble opinion, this is as near as it gets. I've been using it for a year now - often several times a day - and am still amazed by its accuracy. It does exactly what it says on the tin, and it does it brilliantly. I have to assume that the negative reviews have been written by people who are more interested in finding fault with the layout of the app than they are in the weather! If you want to know what the weather will be tomorrow afternoon, or when the next break in the rain is coming so you can pop out to the local shop and stay dry, then this is the app for you. If I could give it six stars, I would. Keep up the good work, MeteoGroup.

For the love of God! The app has been vastly improved over what we had before and still provides us with the same information (plus a bit more) than what we previously had. The company has now given us an option to update further (at a small optional cost) should we chose to. If you don't want to pay then don't! You still get the same information that you had before and you didn't moan about that!I The other option would have been for them to have produced another premium app as a separate purchase and again you would still have had what you paid for originally and an option to progress but this way it's all in one place and you have options!Load if shining wits! Oh no, the letters are mixed up there!NOW, for those thinking of getting this then do, it's a very slick, very functional weather app with an option to update it further from a 3 hourly to an hourly forecast as well as some improvements to the radar imagery at a small charge. Without the premium features it's still accurate and easy to use and exactly what you paid for originally, you have not been deprived of any functionality! New purchasers won't be dissapointed. For those of us who are willing to make a small payment to try out the premium content (£1.19 or £3.99) for 3 months or a year subscription. I'm afraid if looks like there's a bug with that bit and we'll have to wait for a fix. In summary: graphically improved version of the original with all the original content available. Options to enhance the information at a cost should you chose to.

Update: there is a lot of rubbish being written about this app. The new version is excellent. All of the previous versions functionality is there and more if you eant to pay extra. iPhone apps are very cheap so I don't blame the developers for adding value by way of purchasable add-ons. This is a 5 star app, with great features and is very accurate in the forcasts that are used. I haveooked at other weather apps and for the UK non come close to beating this. This is an excellent application. Having access to the radar and satellite pictures is brilliant. I have found this to be very accurate even though I live a few miles away from the nearest obsevation station, which is where the current conditions are taken from. Would love to see access to pressure charts too.

I've had this app for about a year now and I love the amount of detailed information you get. Most importantly the information has been very reliable. Of course, weather forecasting isn't an exact science but I've never know weather pro to be miles of the mark. I've used it in many locations across Europe both for work and recreation; the ability to see exactly what the weather is likely to be doing in three hour slots has help me plan the days activities making the best use of the weather. Highly recommended.

This weather app is fantastic. Great interface which gives loads of data, but in a way that is easy to understand, so you don't get overwhelmed. You can get a brief overview or drill right down to the details if you want them, even radar and satelite. Over the last few months I've used it the data has proved to be very accurate too, which is of course the most important thing. Significantly better than the default iPhone weather app.

I haves this app for a while now and I use it along side other weather apps. However this is the best one and is always accurate. Just recently I havnt been able to access the weather of a particular day (not the section where it tells you weather for times of that day), it is where you click the little blue circular arrow next to the day and it shows you things like the UV rating of that day. It may only be me with this problem but it used to be fine so no down rating, but an update would be great to see if this can be sorted.

For those who want more from a weather app!

I've now used this app for a few months and I have to say it is very good! The things I find most important are, chance of rain... Today for instance there was only a 10% chance of rain where I live so I hung my washing out, even though it was quite gloomy. The satelite image aswell is very good because you can plan ahead. The function of finding your location very much like google maps does and tell you the weather where you are. To sum up it's a great app for those that want a little more in depth weather info... Well worth the price!!!

I have upgraded to the premium service and the ease of having 15 minute updates on the satellite and radar views was well worth it. For the first time I can predict with confidence what the weather will be in the next few hours in particular whether I will miss the rain.It is very esay to use and I like the ability to drag my finger across the screen and have the video follow. I recommend this to anyone who wants to know what the weather will be.

Excellent - probably the best Wx app

As per the other pilots using this to 'supplement' their Wx briefings - all my colleagues that have seen this have been impressed and all that have the iPhone have bought it! Yes, ICAO code recognition would be great - but still this is a great app. Combined with Aeroweather (which all you pilots have - right?) a good heads up on the sort of day you're going to have is easily achievable. It'd be nice to have Wx charts too showing the position and type of fronts, but I still give it 5 stars nonetheless. Even my wife uses this on a daily basis on her iPhone and she has never taken much interest in the weather - she thinks it's great. Keep developing this guys, it's really neat as it is but has the potential to be really awesome!
