Same reliable and familiar info that is on the web site. Unfortunately wind info for Oahu will not load while some other Hawaii locations work fine. It is a bummer to see that not all the info available on the web site is available on the iPhone app. If you are lucky enough to be located in a forecast area, this is a worthwhile app for sure.

Oahu site is reporting now! I could not be happier. Changed my rating from 3 to 5 stars. I use the app every day several times a day for wind predictions.

Now that the pro features can be accessed in v2.0 this app is an absolute essential for anyone needing up to date and accurate wind forecasts. All the excellent data from the windguru site but much quicker and better laid out for an iPhone.
Note that if your user name contains a space you will need to replace it with a + symbol but the author was very quick to investigate this and has another update in the pipeline already. You can’t ask for more than that.

Works great. I fly RC both powered and slope and this site is great. Glad to finally see an app for it. And there are settings for us USA folks to view in our unit measurements. -user account does not seem to sync spots I created in my account long ago. But I can search them and add them. Also you have to understand how the system works to understand the accuracy. Check their homepage.

I have used these predictions for surfing and it really works. Now when I want to surf I only go if windguru says the waves are big enough. It never made a mistake with me!! Get it! And yea it would be even cooler if they made a new layout or something...

Simple interface - clear, easy to read. There IS a preference setting to US measurements from metric. It has my sailing area (Annapolis, MD), so this is perfect for me. Adding tides would be a nice upgrade. Well done.

It needs to support farenheit if it plans on selling in the US. But it's free so use iConvert. More locations would also be useful. Check their website for locations near you before downloading. Update-iPhone settings has an entry for windguru where you can set metric or US values

For those of you who are having trouble, take another look. This time point your finger just below and to the left of the > sign, at say 7 o'clock, you will go first time every time - enjoy it as much as I do,.... Kitesurfing

Just using the free version is enough to help you decide when where and which kit to take. For a free app this is excellent simple to read no need to fire up the pc

tried program extensively and has great choice of locations and good forecast. If you up your subscription with Wind guru you can even get the high res. MM5 model wind forecast which are one of the best around. Good app for all watersport enthusiasts
